What’s green, white, wonderfully light, has a glowing red light, retractable cable and requires nothing more than connecting it to a USB port for it to work like a dream?
Actually to be completely fair, it also comes in silver, pink and blue.

Welcome to the stylish Travel Mouse and lo and behold this little well designed device does exactly what it says on the packaging – and at speed and faultless efficiency – all whilst offering a 2yr warranty for complete peace of mind (there’s a few cynics out there, ya know!)

Typical of the Conceptronic packaging, we are finding their products are an absolute devil to get in to and when I first managed to break the travel mouse out of its jail, my initial concern was how flimsy the retractable cable seemed to be. However, not known for my light touch, I yanked, pulled, twisted, jammed and basically bullied it for a good few minutes with no issues whatsoever. It takes a four year olds common sense (I just qualify) to enable smooth retraction of the cable from USB port and from the mouse to the thoughtfully small storage cog.
There are, of course, left and right buttons on the mouse and a nicely firm wheel for good sensory feedback as you choose to scroll.

Installation made me grin. I plugged it into a USB port and I don’t think it took even 10 seconds before the device was running.
I popped across to my control panel and adjusted the settings to suit (Really fast just to entertain me!)

Voila, I have an exceptionally light, faultlessly working mouse that tidies away in about three seconds for convenient travel.
Can I fault it? As mentioned previously – my only concern is the flimsiness of the USB cable – perfect for travelling but will it survive my life? I’ll find out soon enough!
