IDAPT is a desktop charger. It can charge 3 devices at once and comes with several different connections which cover most appliances so you can pick out the ones you need. If you have lots to charge you can just swap them around as and when you need them. It has a standard plug and is a fairly small size (big enough to hold all 3 devices you are charging), It doesn’t look particularly special and takes up more space than a wire but saves you plugging in 3 chargers.

The different charging attachments are easy to swap around, just push down on either side of them and they pop out. Turn on the power and you’re instantly charging up to 3 devices. I am sure it came with instructions but I didn’t even look -  I didn’t need to as it’s completely self explanatory.

When I first charged my iPod I could hear a high pitched noise, after a few days that stopped so it was probably just a one off.
My phone and iPod both lasted the same amount of time as usual, so they were charged as much as I’d have expected.

Brilliantly all mine and my colleague’s devices are covered with the attachments so I decided to put it on my desk at work and see how it went. I have to admit when I first put it there I couldn’t really see the point and wasn’t sure I’d be too impressed. I was pleasantly surprised. Every morning I come in and put my iPod on the IDAPT and my colleagues charge their phones and MP3s all the time. Even better than that, I don’t have to keep climbing under my desk to unplug other chargers, heaters and the like just to give my phone some battery.

I’ll be leaving my job in a few months and my manager asked me today if she can have the IDAPT when I’m gone because it’s just so useful. That’s a great endorsement if ever I’ve heard one.
