score: 10 out of 10

Product: Audéo Perfect Fit Earphones

Audeo perfect fit earphones, you just get excited when you see the box!

  • The wonderfully impeccable white box contains
  • Earphones with microphone ( Iphone, Ipod, MP3 compatible)
  • Silicon eartips in S, M or L
  • Cleaning tool for eartips
  • Comply foam tips
  • Silicon ear guides
  • Audio Filters
  • Carrying case ( never understood who uses them, but this one is nice- it has enough space for keys, money and a small mp3. There is also room for a condom in case you were planning to run to the bushes)
  • User guides ( EN, FR, DE )
  • Sensitivity: 107 DB
  • Frequenzy: 5 Hz to 17 kHz

If you are looking for the best earphones you ever tried, look no further. If you are looking for a present for a sound geek, you'll make a happy person.

Phonak, a renowned Swiss hearing aid company, decided to use years of experience in hearing aids, to produce amazing earphones.
First of all they are white, great looking and the special cable DOES NOT TANGLE, neither melts, snaps, opens or whatever previous experience you add.
It actually works with your Iphone or any other music phone, without stupid attachments. You press the button and you answer the call, you press it twice and you skip to the next track, you depress the button for 2 sec and they'll call later.

The ear tips fit perfectly, but if you are really fussy with outside noise, they also came with Comply foam ear tips - squeeze them before you insert and the next thing bothering you, will be that air hostess asking to remove them - even if you show they are not plugged in.

Should you really be somebody with slippery ears, you can also insert some transparent silicon ear guides, but really no need, they don't move.

But here comes the excellence: Audio filters.
First of all, when you open the wonderful grey case, you will only find 6 of them, because the other two are already inserted in your earphones. In total you get 4 per type.
Yes.. because Audeo PFE allows you to choose the filter that suits your own perception of sound. Clearly you have to try them... but if you are not lucky enough, one set emphasizes the low and mid range sound spectrum, the other emphasizes bass, ideal for my favourite rock pop and dance.

Only disappointment I found was in the instructions where under the voice Warnings! I read:
"Since the earphones block out ambient noise, never use them while operating machinery or driving any kind of vehicle, walking, biking, jogging or during any other activity where failure to hear outside sounds or alerts can be dangerous."

Well... they are perfect on the bike.. the only pair which doesn't make that stupid wind sound.. and while cycling, jogging or walking on a windy beach that's trust me a great feature.

Would I buy it? Yes
Should you? What are you waiting for.

The Audéo Perfect Fit Earphones are priced at £129.95 (£119.95 without iPhone hands free function) and are available from www.hifiheadphones.co.uk
