The Headphone Wire Manager
Jun 10

I hate getting all tangled in headphone wires whilst exercising or walking my dog, so I was pleased to be able to review the
Magneat Headphone Wire Manager. The Magneat looks like a giant button which you attach to your clothes to control your headphone
wires. Simple to use, it attaches to your clothing with a powerful magnetic fixation, taking away the need to use
clips. The magnet is quite strong, strong enough to affect pacemakers apparently, so I can’t imagine it falling off
accidently. You simply slide the back magnet off, place that underneath your item of clothing and on the outer side,
attach the main Magneat ‘button’. I tested this with blouses, T-shirts and even a medium weight Spring Coat and the
magnet was more than capable of dealing with the thickness of these cloths.
Once in position, you can then attach your headphone wires. It’s somewhat like the cocktail umbrella in its simple
genius of design – although the application is different! With the Magneat Button at the front of your clothing, you can
now wrap your wires around it and there’s a small groove at the top to secure them – no annoying unraveling halfway
through your dog walk / jog session! I found mine was particularly useful when I was driving as I despair of getting wires
caught up in my seatbelt when jumping in and out of the car.
Even better, the Magneat ‘Button’ comes in different colours and designs ensuring ‘accessorizing’ is simple.
Simple and easy to use and does what it is meant to. I would recommend this product as it is an effective way of controlling
your loose wires.
Available from www.magneat.com - plain buttons £7.99, special designs - £9.99.
