Fresh Air Globe

Product: Fresh Air Globe

Do you smoke? Or perhaps have pets? Maybe you have allergies or are just fanatical about the air in your home being fresh. If so, the JML Fresh Air Globe might be right up your street.
Marketed as a er... Fresh Air Globe, the Globe is an "all natural clean air technology" gadget, using tap water and natural oils (Lavender and Eucalyptus Essence provided), multi-coloured lights (more to be aesthetically pleasing, I think) to keep the air in any room fresh, minimise odours and perhaps even reduce allergy reactions.

The first thing I noticed was the packaging. The Fresh Air Globe is the size of a good saucepan - minus the handle and nowhere near as heavy - and JML had handily packaged it in a box with an easy carry handle. Thank you. I needed that for the commute home.
Getting it home and setting it up was easy. A pint of water or thereabouts, a few drops of the supplied oils, two leads to plug in and we were off! I set it up in my bedroom thinking it would add to the ambience nicely. A lovely silver ball with water spinning in it by my bedside, casting out a warm glow from the lights in the base.
Perfect. Almost.
It looked good, it smelt good but by goodness, it was noisy! Bedside table was not the place to put it, so I thought. However a friend came over and she lives in an apartment that runs by a main road and frequently goes to sleep at night with a fan on to camouflage the sound of traffic and she loved it! JML had a new fan.

The Fresh Air Globe retails at £39.99 and if smoking / pets / allergies / drowning out the noise of traffic is high on your list of priorities then this gadget "tiks" a lot of boxes. It's certainly become a talking point in my house and quite a positive one at that. Available at a number of locations too vast to list (incl. Woolworths) or alternatively you can source it from www.jmldirect.co.uk
