Fridge magnets are so last year. Now rather than the usual cheesy messages like 'I'd give up chocolate, but I'm no quitter', you can instead have far more wholesome images of friends and family without even needing Blu-Tack or tape. Fridge hangups is a 3 metre roll of magnetic tape which comes with its own dispenser, much like regular tape does. One side is magnetic, which attaches itself to your fridge. The other side is adhesive which can be attached to your photos, cards or unfriendly notes to your colleagues. To use is as easy as pulling out a strip, tearing it off and sticking it on. The best thing is that it won't mark the back of your precious photos, or have those really annoying bumps on each corner. The only downside is that the heavier the item is, the more tape you have to use. If you change your mind once the photo is up however, then removing the tape is a lot easier than taking off regular tape. The adhesive feels less 'sticky' than sticky tape so that it just peels off cleanly.
I've now plastered all 3 of my photos to my fridge now and am considering printing out more. Just until the next cheesy fridge magnet catches my eye anyway.
Available from www.hangupsrange.com for just £3.99 a roll.
