I really liked the idea of this and it was useful, but I think its useful in terms of setting up an very very basic website. I also think it helps if you have a mental template in mind as to how you shall make it look and what you want it to say.

I did find that you have to make sure some sections are really exact otherwise the finished page would look a bit out of place; out of sync. I wouldn’t say it was entirely foolproof but for an absolute novice (which I am) there might be couple of tricks being missed. The manual was fairly clear and precise but like many people, some of us are a bit useless when it comes to reading technical literature.

In terms of it working with my Mac it was fine. Generally things like this are orientated for those weird PC type things but this was very Mac friendly and the set up was very easy and straightforward. The concept and what the product delivers too is also excellent but it did show me that for perhaps what I need is something a bit more comprehensive as well as having someone help me with layout as the type of site I wish to build is one that showcases my photography.

Mr Takeaway Website provides excellent value for money, but all that is needed is some time and patience in order to tweak and play about with it. Alternatively you could always friend a graphic designer and feed them lots of cake!
I would buy the product, and it’s an excellent choice for making a simple page quickly.
