OK, well let me start off by saying this, PI promised me that although it did not come with a handbook I definitely
wouldn’t need one, as it was such a simple piece of technology.
Her comments made me wonder if she has ever
actually met me! I am the biggest techno-wally going and as such just looking at this headset had me floundered. I tried
to put it on about 6 times and even had 2 separate others try it and none of us seemed to agree which was ‘the
right way up’ as neither felt completely comfortable.
However, once on, and hopefully in the right direction, the sound quality was brilliant. I had complete silence from
background noise, which was perfect on a noisy rush hour bus filled with screaming school kids. It felt very similar to
those posh ear plugs you get on planes or the ones synchronized swimmers wear.
So, as well as getting excellent silence
from the background, the sound quality of the music was really faultless. Again, I would like to add that I am a
techno-nobody so this may be nonsense, but it appears as thought the sound is travelling along hollow tubes of plastic,
rather than through wires. This made it impossible for any ‘shorting’ in the connections, which is normally
the cause of death for my headphones.
I think this set is perfect ‘in theory’ for jogging or other sporty like activities, as it is completely
wire free. However, with the awkwardness of the fit, and the lack of security you feel when it is attached I would save
it for the commute.
It is very light and compact and would be great to keep handy in your pocket or bag. The more I have
used this product the more comfortable it has become and the quality of the product has not altered. So a big thumbs up
from me. Good value for money, and a really fun handy product once you get past the ‘fit’ issues. Then again,
maybe I just have a funny shaped head :-)
