Aw. I think I’m in love!
It’s about the size of a golf ball (!!), a beautiful deep red in colour and proclaims
in the very discreet print on top “Sound Beyond Size”.

Welcome to the gorgeous X-mini™ II Capsule Speaker!
This is one amazing bit of kit and I find myself looking at it now, as it blasts music out from my phone and wondering q uite where to start with my review!
Ok, it’s a speaker – a very small one at that, that has a 3-4 inch long 3.5mm jack that tucks
away perfectly in its base. There’s also a mini USB connector so you can link this straight
to your laptop. Even better, you can buy as many of these speakers as you wish and link them all
together, using their clever ‘buddy jack’ system. Goodness knows how great this would sound because
right now, just the one speaker I’m trialling fills the room well enough. How cool!
As you unpack it, you also find there’s a nice little cloth bag to tuck it away. Thank you.
So, there I sat the first time, with this little ball in my hand. What to do? I gave it a twist and like a friendly little alien begging for some love, it opened up, showing a clever internal system – a vacuum like design that allows the sound to resonate inside. Ha! Brilliant. This means that when it comes to sound quality, this tiny little ball of beauty packs a punch that leaves the competition standing in awe. Bass and treble balance out surprisingly well. There’s also a useful Volume Dial tucked away on the device so you can ramp up the sound on your phone / MP3 player / laptop and then adjust it direct on the X-Mini – perfecto!
The X-mini needs a charge (at some point... I’ve been playing with mine straight from the box for the last two
days ... ) giving you up to 12 hours of play time.
What else can I tell you about this speaker, without boring you to tears with the tech spec’s... It’s beautiful
and sounds great – have I mentioned that? Aw hell, look this is one speaker that I think is worth every
single penny and better yet, the price won’t break your bank.
